Project Aim

The aim of the project was elaboration of comprehensive conservation plan for the Telavi Batonis Tsikhe complex which contains the main principles of conservational intervention to the monument.

Activities

The multidisciplinary study had been conducted in the frames of the project to assess the present condition of the monument and determine terms of further development. Conducted research included:

1. Art historian research
2. Engineering study of the constructions' stability
3. Engineering-geological study
4. Archaeological research
5. Study of vegetation
6. Assessment of the plaster stability
7. Sociological study

Also had been conducted the measurment activities and creation ofthe informational database.
